Game on a greetings card
It's a game...but it's also a greetings card. Yes really, a playable birthday card! Picture on the front, rules on the back! Why buy a standard birthday card or Valentine's card when you can buy a game instead?
All A5 cards with a coloured envelope.
There are several to choose from, in rough order of complexity:
Christmas Maze. 1-many players. A simple maze of ladders and bookshelves, and some specific gifts and decorations to find. Very easy.
Snakes & Ladders & Jellybeans. 1-5 player. Just like snakes and ladders, but you roll two dice and choose which to use — and the winner is the person who collects the most jellybeans! Easy.
Penguin Pairs. 2-4 players. A race game round a track. Each player has two counters, and needs to get them both on the same space, while collecting points. Easy.
Cherry Cake. 1 player. This is a simple logic grid, where you need to read the clues on the card (some in text, some as the picture) and work out the answer. Easy.
The Frog & the Princess. 2-4 players. A race game round a track. Each player has two counters, and needs to get them both on the same space three times, while hopping over other players. Can be simple, or can be more strategic. Easy-medium difficulty.
Hearts. 2 players. Roll dice and colour in hearts. You end up with a unique piece of art made by the two of you. Medium difficultly.
Nourish. 1 player. Race against time with dice. Bees and flowers themed. Medium.
Biscuit. 1 player. This is a hard-ish logic grid. Read the clues on the card to work out the answer. Dungeon & Dragons themed. Medium-hard.
Nourish. 1 player. Race against time with dice. Bees and flowers themed. Medium.
Feline Crimes: Garden. 1 player. A harder logic puzzle than Biscuit, it features four cats bringing four "gifts" in from the garden. Which cat brought which object, where did it find it, and when did the owner discover the gift? Hard.
Feline Crimes: Birthday Bookcase. 1 player. Another harder logic puzzle with the same four cats. Which cat knocked which object off the bookcase, in which order, and what noise did each make when hitting the ground? Says "Happy Birthday" on the front. Hard.
Feline Crimes: Christmas. 1 player. A logic puzzle featuring the four cats and a Christmas tree. If buying in November then will be sent out by Sunday 1 December 2024. Hard.
Plastic Currents. 1 player. Puzzle involving dice and moving jellybeans around a grid. Very hard.
**CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK** Snowball Slide. 2 players, wintery theme of racing snowballs down slopes. Comes with cogs you cut out and place on the card. Roll dice and use the results to turn cogs to direct the snowballs to the right place. Medium difficulty.
